What Should I Know Before Coming to Class?

 

  If you are pregnant or have a health condition such as high or low blood pressure, any body issues such as injuries or chronic pain, please get approval from your doctor before participating in movement classes. Notify your instructor before class of any circumstances or conditions they should be aware of.  In most cases modifications to postures can be provided, but sometimes it may be necessary just to skip a posture. 

 

 

 

 

How Much Do Classes Cost?

For new clients we recommend the 2-week introductory offer, which gives you unlimited access to all classes (with the exception of Pilates Reformer & Chair) for 2 weeks.  This is a good opportunity to explore the classes and meets the instructors and find your groove.

Studio Drop-in classes are $15 ($13 for students).  Virtual classes are $8. Package deals are also available at reduced rates.  Go to the Rates & Registration tab for more details

 

Do I need to Pre-Register for a class?

It is not mandatory but it is strongly encouraged. It is not possible for a client to register after a class therefore the instructor must do it which takes up time before or after class.

What Do I Need to Bring to a Class?

 

  • Comfortable, stretchy clothing
  • Mat if you have one. No worries if you don't - we have plenty
  • Any of your own preferred props. Again we have plenty for your use: straps, blocks, bender balls, Pilates rings, sliders, blankets, bolsters,etc.
  • Your own drinking water. We have filtered water in the main studio if you need a refill.
  • Fairly Empty Stomach
  • Pilates socks with grippies if you prefer them

 

What shoud I NOT Bring to a Class?

 

  • Illness. If you're sick please don't bring it to the studio. 
  • A ringing or vibrating cell phone
  • Anything you do not need for class
  • Leave shoes at the door, except for fitness classes
  • Chewing gum
  • A Full Stomach
  • Heavy Fragrance (perfume, cologne, body odor)
