Mind Body Balance With Ayurveda

 

Join Joan St Clair eRYT 500 for a full two hour, in depth, Introductory Workshop on the ancient science of Ayurveda. Ayurveda is a holistic healing system, and is considered the sister-science to yoga. In this workshop you will learn Ayurvedic philosophy, foundation, and how this system promotes health and well-being throughout life. In addition, you will learn about your personal Prakriti, or Constitution, & Vrikriti, or imbalances, to enhance your own ability to maintain health. Join Rachel Galloway, RYT and Certified Prenatal Yoga Teacher, for this introductory Prenatal Yoga Workshop.

 

 

Prenatal yoga is designed to ease tensions common in pregnancy by supporting your body, mind and heart during all stages of pregnancy. The class will focus on breath work and safe postures to help reduce stress, increase confidence and prepare childbirth. 

The class is dedicated to creating a connection between you and your baby, connection between you and your body and connection between you and a community of other mamas. 

Benefits of prenatal yoga include:

  • Improved emotional well-being
  • Increased strength and flexibility
  • Reduced pain and inflammation
  • Less fatigue and better sleep

Yoga experience is not necessary and all expecting mothers are welcome.

Refreshments will be provided.

 

(Note: Rachel will be offering a weekly Prenatal Yoga class at the Barboursville Studio on Sundays at 2:00 p.m. starting in May 2019. No packages or pre-registration required, drop-in when you can!)
