Free Tai Chi is currently offered at Studio 8 on Sundays from 3:00 to 5:00. The class is taught by Marty Laubach.
The Advanced Tai Chi is offered from 3:00-4:00 for those who can flow smoothly through the primary series. Beginner Tai Chi is taught moving slowly through the primary series at 3:00.
Tai Chi Chuan is a soft-style martial art which emphasizes Taoist teachings of yielding and softness overcoming strength. The martial aspect will primarily be taught to help correct the body posture and energy flows through the body, but it will also be emphasized as a form of yoga in motion. The Sunday classes will teach William Chen’s short form.
Tai Chi Easy is offered as a donation-based class on Mondays from 7:45-8:45pm. Tai Chi Easy consists of classic, simple and fun Qigong methods of postural alignment and gentle movement, breath practice, self-applied massage and relaxation, visualization, along with moving meditation practices, which are based in Tai Chi.
